I lost my wallet with some money in it, all my credit cards and store cards, a couple of gift certificates, my liscence, my social security card, and a couple of priceless photos in there. I was devastated and no, I never got it back.

The diamond earrings my mom gave me for the wedding, very valuable. I lost them the day I got home from the honeymoon. Now I wear a cheapo pair around her once in awhile and she hasn't noticed....she's old and don't see so good

I lost a handkerchief that DH's grandmother gave me as the something old at our wedding. It was from the Boxer Rebellion and her uncle brought it back from China when he was fighting over there. Probably from the late 1800's. And no I never found it, and I realized it was lost when we got back to the hotel...and needless to say it did not start off the wedding nite all that well.

DH lost his wedding band in the Hudson River while whitewater rafting. No we never found it, but he had another one made.
