Have you ever placed an entire acorn squash in the oven to bake it? T
I mean without slicing it or anything? Just washing it off and baking it for 40 minutes at 400 degrees? That is what the sticker on the squash said. I am going to cut it in half, but now I am curious...

Nope.. I usually slice it in half and brush it with some olive oil and season with a bit of salt. I imagine it would take longer to roast without slicing it.. but maybe it would be easier to cut open??

I usually slice it in half, clean out the seeds - little pat of butter & brown sugar. Ok - Now I need some acorn squash!

I do the same thing!
Would think it would take a long time to roast whole but don't see how it could hurt...
