Have you noticed you don't like some stuff (food) you used to like??
Im sitting here eating my strawberry jello which was a guilty pleasure of mine and now it tastes all super sweet and I'm not really enjoying it.
Worse I have a whole case if it in the fridge at the office and all I wanna do right now is throw it out.
Also the idea of brewed fresh green tea is tummy turning. This is another "Huh" for me. I LOVE green tea!!! We have a quarter pound fresh loose leaf tea at home to brew with my cast iron pot and I have 2oz here at the office with a personal brewer
WHATS HAPPENING TO ME?

Re: Have you noticed you don't like some stuff (food) you used to like??
last week, my decaf irish breakfast tea (I drink it at night with milk and LOVE it) tasted dry, if you can imagine I didn't want to drink it at all. Now the tea is fine, but all the highly seasoned food I normally love (mexican, ethiopean, indian) all sounds gross. All I want to eat this week is bagels with cream cheese and tomato, and pasta in cream sauces.... Of course we have no pasta in the house... which is probably a good thing, otherwise I'll gain my entire 35 lbs in the first trimester

It will amazingly go away after pregnancy. I could not look at chicken raw for the life of me, and I wasn't able to think about the restaurant Chilis that I LOVE. I also couldn't open up the pasta cabinet without wanting to puke at the smell of uncooked pasta. So weird.

I have the exact same problem. I eat Chinese food everyday in my home because my husband is Chinese. However, right now, I can't STAND Chinese food. I also don't want to eat very much eat, I am eating a lot more veggies.
Today for lunch, I had Mac and Cheese from a box.

For the past 2 days the smell of coffee (which I LOVE) has made me wanna puke. I don't really have the sensitivity to smell yet full force, it just seems to come and go.

I think an anti-red meat thing is developing in me too... It tastes really gamey and off
unfortunately, starches and sweet stuff is just fine with me mercifully, veggies are too....

These week the thought of shrimp makes me want to gag.
But I never had M/S so if this is the worst I have to deal with then so be it.

That happened to me in my first trimester, but luckily went away as my pregnancy progressed. In the beginning I couldn't think about shrimp or Mexican food, two things I usually love. Thankfully that hasn't been an issue for me in months.

I cannot eat anything chopped meat related (meatballs, burgers, etc.), fish, yogurt, or spinach.
All foods I love. But I have found replacements

GOD FORBID!!!!
My hubby is Chinese too and I LOVE chinese food. I'll die if that goes out of my diet. Plus it will make it hard to 'hide' from my mother in law!!!!!!!!
I haven't had it lately but I think Stir Fry's on the weekend plan.
Tonight Enchilladas for my hubby

It was near IMPOSSIBLE to hide from my MIL. We told her at 8 weeks because I was having such morning sickness at the smell of garlic. After that, she has been really nice to me. I am carrying her grandchild after all.
Chinese New Year is going to be tough this year!!

Yeah we're having Earth Rat babies!!!
OMG I feel so bad for you. I LOVE Chinese New Year’s food. Hubby’s grandma died last year and has been sick for a couple of years, so it hasn’t been the same without her, but we are celebrating my BIL’s engagement to another Chinese family so we’re prolly going to do a joint family thing. (I hope). Ironically same family name just different American spelling!!!!
I love love Chinese food, Chinese culture, Chinese lifestyles.
I have no m/s (so far at 8w5d) so I am feeling sorta confident I won’t get it. Still I drink a lot of water and hit the head a lot. Hopefully she doesn’t catch on. I would feel SO bad!!! Only good news I am holding out on telling them until I tell my father which should be this next week.
I HOPE nothing on the table makes me green since nothing before ever has! I really hadn’t thought of it. Nor did I think about the amount of bad things that will be on that table. Yum and Ugh all at the same time!

oooh, it's a rat year! I'm a rat baby I guess it makes sense that rats usually lead to more rats
come to think of it, that's probably why I like cheese so much
