Have you used Merry Maids ?
Hi,
I'm having a hard time finding a regular permanent house cleaner. Until I find someone I am comfortable with I am considering using Merry Maids- has anyone used them? Any feedback?

I used them once but it was years ago. For what they charge, I was NOT impressed and I was only in an apt, not even a house.

We use them for our apartment. They only come once a month since the place is small. We find it worth it, especially the bathroom!!! (DH is very messy). We both have busy jobs and commute, so we find it a real timesaver.

No, and after reading "Nickel and Dimed", where the author worked for them for a few weeks or months, I don't think I would.....

My parents used them before, they did a good job cleaning but there were issues with their management and it became annoying so my mom stopped using them.
She uses someone else now who is really good. They service the Queens/Nassau area. If you are interested let me know, I'll get the contact info for you.
