Having a "bag" day

WTF?
So went food shopping this morning and went to put some lemons in those veggie bags. Let me tell you I went through about 5 till I found one that wasn't ripped since the first one the lemon fell right out of and tried and tried to get a decent bag. LOL
Then I am bringing in the groceries and see I have a trail of greek yogurts on my driveway bc the bag had a hole.
Finally... I was walking my dog and after she did her thing I went to take a bag out of the poop bag holders I had to go through about 6 to find one without a hole.

I don't think I ever had a bad bag day before.
Anyway, small vent for the day, but I better keep my eyes peeled... Chat Icon Chat Icon

I hate those prduce bags in the stores- I can never get them open.

I use reusable mesh bags most of the time- they sell them in wholefoods ( and I think other gorcery stores now.)

Well, just lick your fingers and then rub them around on the opening of the bag. You shouldn’t be using plastic bags for a lot of things in produce anyway. I mean I just take my lemons and put them in my cart or basket. I think the only things I put in plastic bags are loose mushrooms.

I don’t have a dog, but maybe just bring some paper towels in case?

I use reusable bags all the time, but I am forced to use them. But it’s much better for the environment. Plastic is ruining the earth.

Yes, definitely a sign I should use more recyclable bags. LOL
I usually don't use the plastic bags for fruit, but I was getting a bunch of lemons.
For the dog I have to use the plastic bags though. I take her for long walks or jog with her so no way I am holding a paper towel holding poop. LOL Normally those bags are fine. Probably the one bag that got cut with the box cutter. Will be more environmentally conscious.

I didn’t mean to say that you should only take paper towels, but rather that you bring the paper towels along with your plastic bags for the dog.

Re: Having a "bag" day

Oh my goodness, I had the same poop bag issue this past Sunday. My poop fell out from the bottom like 3 times until I just tied the other end. It was so annoying, so I feel ya. I can’t believe that happened to multiple times on the same day.

Same for the paper towel, that’s gross. Lol. Imagine how nasty the trash can would be if everyone just threw poop with paper towels in them.

OMG! Isn't that the worst!! I also hate when it's the last poop bag in there and then she decides to go again. I'm like... Ugh, I gotta open the bag. Chat Icon
A new roll of bags is the best feeling (as long as there are no holes). Chat Icon
