Having a hard time (M/C related)

HI all. I haven't posted in a while, but a few weeks ago I went in for a sono and there was no heartbeat (I was 8 1/2 weeks).
This was my 4th m/c so I knew what to expect and I thought I was doing ok emotionally, since I already have 2 healthy little ones at home.

Last week, I got the results of the genetic testing and it turned out it was Trisomy 21 (Down's). I don't know why, but I am having a hard time with this. I think it has something to do with the fact that I still want more kids, but I am going to be 39 and I feel like my time is up and because I really don't want to go through another D&C.

Don't get me wrong, I am so so grateful for the 2 I already have (since I went through IF treatments to get them). There is still a part of me that feels like I want more.

Now I'm just rambling. I really don't know what I am asking, maybe just venting to get it off my chest and hopefully see if there is anyone out there who can relate and maybe has some advice for me.

Thanks for reading.

Sorry sending hugs too!!! If you 100% want more children would you consider an option like adoption? I know the process is not easy and it's expensive and not for everyone but maybe something to think about if you haven't already.

Most importantly, keep focusing on the positives and the children you have. I always find counting my blessings and focusing on the good helps me when I'm down.

So Sorry your going through this Chat Icon when you want something so bad you it starts to consume you. You start questioning why, is it me? am I not meant to have more? Its all so emotional. You still have time, there are 50 year olds having babies. I've been TTC for 3 years went through IF treatments / IVF and naturally conceived #2 and I am having a hard time believing it. In a weird way I am preparing myself to hear bad news, its so overwhelming. Wishing you all the best Chat Icon
