having a problem w/ a friend
things used to be a lot different (2 way convos) but she met this guy recently and that is ALL she talks about. needs to analyze everything and constantly seeking advice on the most petty matters. whenever i bring up something about myself, she answers but then goes back to her.
what should i do? i really want to say something but don't want to hurt her feelings or offend her.

If it's the beginning of a relationship, I'd just suffer through. Eventually the shine wears off & they become normal again.
If you really need to say something, maybe something along the lines of "Can we talk about me for a minute?" and laugh it off. Eh, I'm probably not a good one to ask. I'm very passive agressive.

i have been friends w/ her for like 5 years. no matter what is going on in my life i ALWAYS listen to others and interested in what they have to say.

i had a friend like that-if it was her guy, feeling sick, work, her family- whatevr it was, i heard about it...and any time that i had something going on, she never cared to talk about it and went right back to herself
i backed off alot -and we did not talk for about 2 years
now she has a family and i keep my distance to avoid her self obsession
what im trying to say is, if she is like this about everything, then maybe its time for a new friend
if she is like this only regarding this new guy, then you can try to put up with it and hope that she gets over talking about him all the time

i had a friend like that...
i would try telling her how you feel...Be honest, if you value your friendship...
Because this kind of annoyance can build and build and then it gets to the point where you just can't be around them...
