Having my ultrasound tomorrow
I'll be 12 weeks exactly, and as I am anticipating on seeing my little bean again, I am anxious as well. I understand what the sono entails and what it looks for but still I can't stop thinking about it and hoping that all is well.
The results won't be available to my doctor until I go in for my monthly check-up on the 4th, but if God forbid something is wrong do you think they'll be able to tell us right there? Im such a worry wort when it comes to these things...thanks!

Re: Having my ultrasound tomorrow
First off, don't worry
We've never had anything wrong at a u/s (thank god and I hope it continues at this stupid growth one) but during my ultrascreen and my level II the tech pointed out the baby and what he was doing and stuff. And at the 20 weeker, she told us that everything was good and here was heart and blah blah.
I've heard that the techs aren't really supposed to tell you anything, but ours have always told us what to look at, etc.
It'll be fun!!

Re: Having my ultrasound tomorrow
When I went, they told me that I had placenta previa right away but for the genetic results I had to go back in a week. You will be amazed how big the baby is!

Re: Having my ultrasound tomorrow
Sylvia - I was just like you before my u/s - so nervous and excited at the same time... they will tell you about the folds in the neck immediately if anything is wrong... but the blood work takes a week to come in....
BUT - once you see what the baby looks like on the screen, you will be blown away. Your baby is no bigger than a soda can at this point, but fully formed and doing all this wild baby stuff - rollling around, sucking its thumb - you will be in love immediately, and all your worries will melt away!!!
good luck tomorrow!!!

Re: Having my ultrasound tomorrow
I feel the same way as you! I have an appointment tomorrow and I am convincing myself that I have no PG symptoms and that I am going to hear bad news. I am a nervous wreck!
Everything will be fine! Good luck today!
