Having spit--up issues...alittle long
My daughter spits up ALL the time, more now then ever, she is on her 4th formula and she is taking zantac for her acid reflux....so when we went to the Dr last week I mentioned to her that her spit ups are more frequent...so she said to put the baby on Enfimal A.R because it is thicker and she should be able to hold it down more since she is only 3 1/2 months old and they will not give her cereal...So they gave me a liquid sample of the formula and I tried it this past saturday and after her 2nd bottle of the day the spit ups started again only this time she would gauge on it because it was so thick at one point I got freaked out and had to stick my figure in her mouth to get the spit up out so she wouldnt gauge anymore.
Is there anything that can be done for babies that spit up so much?? I feel like if I call my dr again she is gonna just brush me off.

she has severe allergies to all of the formulas and needed a medicated one

I know it takes a while for the new formulas to kick in. My DD spit up VERY badly and enfamil ar was the only thing that helped for her but it took about a week for the formula to work it's way through her body and make things better. She didn't STOP spitting up though- but it was reduced greatly.

Thank gosh shes better!
My DD spit up all day too, until she was 8 months old. We had a minor reflux issue and controlled it with change of formula but the spitting up stil continued.
Some babies just do that, "spit" up and as long as they are holding weight, its ok.
Like T said though, it cant hurt to see a GI specialist to make sure its not severe.
