Having trouble eating all of my points
I get 30 points a day and am having a very hard time eating them. I feel like I'm eating more now than I was before getting back on WW. I am not hungry after I eat any meal, and I don't want to force myself to eat just to use my points.
Here's an example of what I had yesterday: Oatmeal and glass of OJ for breakfast Apple about 2 hours later 1 cup Grapes midday Lean Cuisine Lasagana with meat Sauce for lunch Chicken Bruschetta for dinner (breaded chicken cutlets baked with tomatoes, red onion, and FF Italian Dressing) 2 glasses ginger ale WW Ice cream bar Glass of OJ
I still had 3 points left over. Today I've put my breakfast, lunch and snacks in and I will have 19.5 points for dinner and evening snacks. Any suggestions on how to use these points everyday?

These questions may be too personal, but how much do you weigh, how tall are you, and how much are you looking to lose? Did you put these into WW? Maybe what you are eating has nothing to do with your weight gain. You may want to consult a doctor regarding these issues.

Re: Having trouble eating all of my points
First I would just like to say it looks like you are doing awesome!!!!
Second I'd like to say I will gladly eat all of your left over points if you really don't want them
You really MUST eat those points. It is really easy to pack on the points when you want to! Just try and do it healthy!
Some suggestions: -With your apple you can add 2 Tbsp of full fat PB (that is about 5 points right there) -On your chicken bruchetta you can add a few teaspoons of olive oil (3 teaspoons are 3.5 points) -Eat items that have more fat. If you are eating fat-free cheese eat low-fat or full-fat. -You can also make your oatmeal with milk instead of water.
Just try and think of ways that will help you add points without adding bulk and as always try to make them as beneficial as possible.
HTH!

My weight is so high because I've always eaten a lot of fast food and never exercised. I lost 30lbs on WW in 2007 and then never went back on it after my wedding. Now I'm committed again (just started this week). I think this is def the right plan, but I need suggestions like azood provided to help me use up those points.

Re: Having trouble eating all of my points
Here's an example of what I had yesterday: Oatmeal and glass of OJ for breakfast (maybe make the oatmeal with skim milk)
Apple about 2 hours later 1 cup Grapes midday (add a low fat cheese stick)
Lean Cuisine Lasagana with meat Sauce for lunch ( add an apple or another piece of fruit) Chicken Bruschetta for dinner (breaded chicken cutlets baked with tomatoes, red onion, and FF Italian Dressing) 2 glasses ginger ale WW Ice cream bar Glass of OJ
I make some suggestion in () for you. I find that the more "filing" foods I eat.. and add some veggies it makes my points go so much further. I also get a larger amount of points as well...

Re: Having trouble eating all of my points
I agree with Azad - add some healthy fats, like peanut butter or nuts. They are high in points and I would gladly eat them more often if I could splurge on the points.
Another thing you could try is some guacamole and baked tortilla chips. I make a quick and dirty guac - just mash the avocado and add some salsa until it's the right consistency. Avocado is higher in points, but healthy.
If you eat salad, use full fat dressing, not lowfat or fat free.
I also agree with making the oatmeal with milk - it tastes better that way too.

Re: Having trouble eating all of my points
you have to try to eat all of your points!! They have said in my meeting, that if you dont know what to eat, just fill them with fruit. So thats what I do, or sometimes I will let myself cheat and have a naughty snack
