I saw this and I feel awful for her. Now, she's in treatment and has to be away from her baby  I wish her all the best.

Ok so maybe I am clueless about PPD but her baby is 10 months old. Doesn't this usually happen right after the baby is born and just the first few months?

Wait- the treatment is inpatient?
From an article I read:
The 26-year-old actress has checked into a treatment center as she continues to battle postpartum depression following the birth of her daughter Kaya, whom she welcomed with fiance Wladimir Klitschko in December 2014.
So it does seem that way.

She has been open about battling it for months. Guess it just got worse.
I wish her the best.
I know someone who struggled with it and things got very bad. Thankfully she eventually got help, about a year after the birth of her daughter and it helped her tremendously.

I didn't recognize and seek help for my PPD until my son was 9 months old. Sometimes it gets worse over time if not treated.

They had a Dr. on the Today show this morning talking about it who said that it can start any time before the baby is 1 yr - and often starts at 9-10 months. also, I wouldn't be surprised if she was suffering for sometime before making the decision to check into a facility for treatment
