Hazing
Hi.
I teach HS business and in our law class we are going to do a section on hazing.
I would like to find a movie about hazing either high school/college or atheltic.
I know there are some out there but I am so bad with movie titles.
Can anyone think of any titles off the top of their head?

Wasn't there a Lifetime movie with Six from Blossom and the imposter Becky from Rosanne? I think they were in a soroity and one of the girls died?

The Skulls with Joshua Jackson(from dawson's creek).
I think it is important to point out that most colleges have a strong policy against hazing though. As a member of a sorority, I think it is important to point out that we do a lot of good...and not every fraternity/sorority make their pledges do horrible things.

Yeah, I agree. A TON has changed in the (yikes!) 10 years I've been out of undergrad. Thinking back to then, what we did, really wasn't that bad AT ALL, but would not be tolerated anymore by a national organization.
I remember debating with another alumna recently about "scavenger hunts". She was completely against them because she felt that they "could" lead to very dangerous situations, like car accidents if you are on a time limit. I can see her point, but honestly, there are worse things that people do.
I used to advise a local chapter of my organization and they were really trying to follow the "no haze" policy and said that believe it or not, they couldn't get a lot of new members, because the girls would all pledge local orgs that had less oversight and could get away with more stuff. They even told stories of new members begging to be hazed hard!
