HCG test question
How long after you concieve would a blood test show that you are pregnant?
I had bloodwork done for something unrelated yesterday and while giving me my results today, the nurse said ' since your pregnancy test was negative, you can take the meds the DR prescribed'. I am only 3DPO, and wasn't planning on testing until I missed a period. Does this mean i'm out for this month?

You're not out! A PG doesn't show up in blood work that early. If there was an embryo it wouldn't even have implanted yet. So no, you're not out!

OMG, 3dpo is SO early, even bloodwork wouldn't detect pregnancy that early. Implantation usually takes anywhere from 7-10 days. So the EARLIEST you could possiblty get a positive would be 7dpo, but even that is early.

Agreed! Your body doesn't have the HCG surge until after implantation so there's still a chance your pregnant!!

Ive read the EARIEST would be 5DPO and i think that is only a small %
