He is now sucking on his 2 fingers all the time (cute pics to share)
DS does not use a pacifier and does not suck his thumb and since he was little always liked to suck on his two fingers (pointer and middle backwards) lately he does it ALL THE TIME. i was looking back at pictures from our father's day BBQ with firends and he is sucking those 2 fingers in so many pics.
Feeding him dinner last night i had to pull them out if his mouth half the time to feed him.
is this just a phase? we were so happy he didnt use a paci or suck his thumb but this could be worse. 
any suggestions? (he is teething, he has his bottom 2 and 3rd one on top just broke though a little)

Like I said...I sucked my 2 fingers until I was 8! eventually it will pass

when ds started doing this, I offered him a paci... he never ever took a paci before
He is now glued to it, I had to rip the paci out of his mouth for the bottle.
maybe you can turn him on to a teething toy? DS is too young for most teething toys, I found one he can almost use by himself, so I'm greatful he'll take the paci and chew on it.

my mom used to tape my fingers and put salt and pepper on them. maybe thats why i hate salt and pepper now.

we did give the paci a try when his colic was out of hand even though we didnt want to. he didnt want any part of it.
DS has every teething toy they make, spohie, frozen ones, the vibrating one, the keys, and everything else he can put in his mouth (he had a rough time when those bottom 2 came out) but now that he has found his fingers thats all he wants.

OMG thats so funny, go mommy... That is probably why you hate it. I secretly sucked my thumb forever and they put that stuff that looked liked a clear nail polish on my thumb and it tasted nasty...
Meanwhile LOVE that Ian is grabbing the "I" so he can spell his name!!!

Awww thanks everyone!!! I think he looks cut esucking them I just hate that i have to rip them out of his mouth now to feed him...
