headstone

my mom just called to say she went to the cemetary to see my dad's headstone. it was put in last week. i'm just not ready for this....i know some people find it comforting or closure. i don't. just makes it all the more real.....can't believe it's been 6 months already. thanks for listening!

I totally understand Don't feel badly, go when you feel ready. In time you may find your visits comforting too, it just takes a while to get there

I completely understand...Our daughter's headstone was put in a few weeks ago, and it was really an emotional thing to see. The first time I saw it was on Mother's Day, so it was just like another stab in the heart, but in a sense it was also nice to see...Like now everyone that goes there will see her name...

Lots of hugs to you...We lost Sarah 6 months ago yesterday, and it still hurts like it just happened...
