Health Insurance Coverage
I wondered if you would share with me your health insurance coverage for infertility? My coverage is for testing to diagnose only. This means once I'm diagnosed, I pay everything out of pocket.
Is this pretty standard or does my insurance just stink?
Thank you.

Re: Health Insurance Coverage
No offense, but I think your insurance stinks a little. I'm surprised it doesn't at least cover IUI. I think most people have IUI and don't have IVF.

Re: Health Insurance Coverage
I am with you...Unfortunately we have Cigna & only diagnosis is covered. We had our first IUI in June & we had to pay out of pocket. it totally stinks especially when all bloodwork is not even covered. DH & I have considered changing coverage bc it is getting rather expensive with paying out of pocket.

Re: Health Insurance Coverage
DH's coverage only covered diagnostics, so I switched to my company's insurance (blue cross) which covers all infertility treatments.....This is not common though.....Unfortunately, most companies do not elect to add that coverage on....
