Health Programs online
Long story short, I have been wanting to make a change for a looooong time. I am in HR now, corporate world and not happy, no matter where I go.
I would like to do something in the healthcare field. Does anyone know of any online programs that I can look into - I know at some point I would have to do practical in person training but can I get started online? I'm talking about nursing, OT, ultrasound tech...things like that...
Thanks!

Re: Health Programs online
Excelsior has an online nursing program (a couple of my classmates back in school had transferred from that program), which is all online with capstone at the end, But i think it's only available to those that already work in a healthcare setting.
Otherwise, you could just take your pre-reqs at a local community college (which probably offers them online- those there's still some science courses that have labs- not sure if you be able to find those offered online?) and then once youre in the nursing program, there's a couple of classes that you can try to take online (at my school, there were only 2 offered online, but i took them both that way- nursing seminar and pharmacology).
The problem with most health science programs is that much of the information that you need and learning is done so in the lab and the clinical settings.
