Healthy snacks for brown-baggers
I need to get back on the healthy eating bandwagon. Any suggestions for healthy snacks I can bring to work to keep me from grabbing the soda and potato chips? I like things with lots of flavor, I'm not a fan of 100 calorie packs and I'm willing to do some work at night or on the weekend to have snacks ready in the morning to grab and go. Also, I'm trying to eat less packaged foods, I'd like it to be more things I can prepare for myself or eat whole and fresh.
Things I like: apples and natural peanut butter veggies and hummus fresh fruit/fruit salad trail mix (nuts & berries)
Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

snacks I like:
apples, bananas, grapes kashi granola bars (the 140-160 calorie ones) yogurt pudding soy chips
health food stores have good snacks, like low fat oat bars (they look like blondie brownies) or fat free chocolate chip cookies

I know that you're trying to stay away from packaged foods and I'm not sure if these are vegan, but the vitatop muffins/snacks look like they're good. Low cal, high fiber.
Beyond that, I'm a fan of celery stuffed with cream cheese (tofutti for you)!

For something different, I like Nori roasted seaweed sheets. I buy them cheap in Chinatown.
I also love dates.

They're not I checked. They look SO good, too.
Today I brought (for lunch & snack): Salad (leftover from last night) with tofu Lemon herb quinoa A peach Eco-Planet No-cheese its (my guilty pleasure of the moment, but still only 100 calories!)

Re: Healthy snacks for brown-baggers
Fresh fruit
A handful of walnuts or almonds and put them in a snack bag
Soy chips are good too (very surprised I'd like them)
Fig newtons
Green tea
For something sweet, I'll have the Special K 90 calorie snack bars
Fruit cups (not the syrup-y ones)
Applesauce snack cups
