Heard that eggplant parm induces labor so...
my mother in law made some and brought it over. I had 2 pieces (delish!). Has anyone heard of this? And now...we wait!
Ok...I see the link below (edited) with the place in Georgia with the magic recipe! ha ha! Who knows; maybe her recipe works, too! The baby is going crazy and moving and rolling all around now!

Read that the basil and oregano are contraindicated in pregnancy BECAUSE they supposedly bring on contractions, so it's the spices and not the eggplant that can do it. I guess? who knows! I'm so ready though. Christmas shopping today I was getting looks of sympathy from people! Baby is so low, in my lap and I just look like I am carrying a GIANT bowling ball!

do not, i repeat DO NOT eat the pineapple!!
the myth says you have to eat an entire, fresh, pineapple. which i did trying to bring labor on for ds#1.
well after eating the entire thing, and 3 full days of heartburn, reflux, and vomiting later, it did nothing. it has been almost 5 years and i still cannot even look at a pineapple.
with ds#2: long walks and lots of  did the trick!

I have heard that. Didn't work for my sister BUT Greek did, go figure!

yup same here. . just read an article about all the food myths being debunked. .
heard walking, sex, and acupuncture are the best though
edited to add. . Good luck though. . if you keep eating things, one of them is bound to work

I love eggplant parmesan and made tons of it after 38w. I tried everything for the 4weeks after that my midwife recommended...but nothing! I hope it workd for you. I never tried the castor oil.

I heard castro oil should be used as a last resort  my cousin took it and didn't leave her bathroom for hours
