Heart fluttering? Feels like extra beats?
scares the hell out of me
i am guessing its normal...I should have asked doc the other day, but forgot.

I get that from time to time too...I never asked though. I know I get like that when I'm stressed to begin with though.

I've always had that happen here and there, and when I'm pregnant it happens a little more often. If def. scares the crap out of me, but I always just chalk it up to stress.

Yeah, I used to get that all the time.
It's perfectly normal... just your heart compensating for the extra blood supply.
Of course if it's excessive, definitely let your OB know!

Its normal! If you get short of breath or dizzy then its time to go see a DR.

I've been getting that a lot, it takes my heart a few minutes to settle down when I lay down and I get the thumping a lot get me really freaked out at first but from what I understand it's just the extra blood supply

I get them during pregnancy. With DD they increased and I told my Dr who had me go to a cardiologist and wear a loop monitor for a week. They didn't find anything alarming. Now pregnant again, they've returned and if they get worse I will do the same with the monitor. It is scary and annoying, always freaks me out.
