Heartbeat at 7 1/2 weeks
After the feedback I received from you ladies about Oakdale OBGYN I scheduled my first appointment on December 11th. The receptionist said they will confirm my PG and do a basic check-up, at which time I'll be 7 1/2 weeks. I heard they look for the babies heartbeat between 8-10 weeks and you can listen to it. Did anyone have get to see/hear their babies HB before that 8-10 week mark? I am so eager to hear it!

You cant hear it yet - I went at 7 weeks, and you just see a little fluttering - its really cool!

We heard and saw the heartbeat at my first appointment I was 6 1/2 weeks
ETA-I had an internal maybe that had something to do with hearing it that early!

We weren't able to hear the HB that early. We went for a sono at 6 1/2 weeks and saw the HB but weren't able to hear it with the doppler until 10 weeks.

I also got o oakdale, u cant hear it with a doppler but if you get an internal sono you can see it beating, it was a really cool experience...

You can only hear it that early via internal sonogram.
With the doppler, my Dr. said you can start hearing it at 11-12 weeks. I heard it at 11 with the Doppler. At my 9.5 week appt. I could only hear is via internal sono.

I had an internal sonogram and I heard and saw the hearbeat at 7w3d.

We saw and heard the heartbeat clear as a whistle when I was 8 weeks.
