Heartbeat for the first time?
I'm going tomorrow for my first appt, and I will be 7 weeks (exactly). I know there's a chance I'll hear/see the heartbeat, but it's possible I won't. So I was just wondering ... when was the first time you were able to hear your baby's heartbeat?

I heard the heartbeat for the first time at 12 weeks and it was a bit difficult to find. At 8 weeks, I had a sono and saw the baby and heartbeat, but didn't hear it.

i didnt hear until i had a dating sono at 9 weeks.... then i rented the heart doppler from baby beat!!

I saw the heartbeat at 7 weeks 5 days... I'll be going thurs for my second and I'll be 10... I'm hoping to hear it!!

I had my first sono at 5 weeks and some days (can't remember) because they thought I might be having an ectopic pregnancy. I was able to SEE the heartbeat then (at 5 + weeks) - I actually didn't hear it until my ultrascreen around 11 weeks.

Ooops sorry I put 6w6d but as far as HEARING the HB that wasn't until 11 weeks.

I saw the heartbeat at 8 weeks. I heard the heartbeat at 10 weeks. It was actually really strong and every time since has been louder.

havent heard yet but its possible as early as 6 weeks.

I SAW the heartbeat for the first time at around 6 weeks. I heard the heartbeat for the first time at my Ultrascreen test, which was 12 weeks. The doctor now listens to it every time with the Doppler.

7 weeks you absolutely will see the heartbeat. That is the reason they wait to see you 8-9 weeks after the missed AF.
