the rule is generally +150, girl, 150 or below, boy
my LO's HB was 169 at 8 weeks and 158 at 12 weeks... and he's DEFINITELY a boy  (the HB at my level II was 131)

With my son his HB was like 154. This one the HB was 171 and its most definately a boy

It's all BS. My son was ALWAYS moving around so his heartrate was always high! lol

 until about 20 weeks was consistently between 150-170.
Since 20 weeks the HB has slowed down and he is usually between 130-140.
