heat and hot water for a 2 bedroom - how much
We are looking to move and are going to see a mid-sized 2 bedroom apartment this weekend. the price of the apartment is at the very top of our price range. the issue is that they are asking for the tenant to pay heat and hot water. I am wondering how much we should expect to pay. I under stand that it will be more in the winter, so what should i expect with heat on and without. I just want to see if we can really afford this and dont find out in november that we are screwed
Thanks

If it is in a house make sure it is just for your apt. If it is for the house Ii can get pricey. They won't feel obligated to keep the thermostat low if they aren't paying for it. Our old apt we paid the electric, water and oil for the whole house. The bills got outrageous. They cranked the heat in the winter and had the window ac's going 24/7 in the spring and summer.

Also find out if it's oil, gas or electric heat/hot water
