Hello again...

I just wanted to ask you guys a question. I'll be 8w0d tomorrow. This past week I've been feeling really good besides my few hours of spotting on Monday afternoon. I ended up cancelling my appt because they didn't have any available that afternoon and only had one the next day. Well, I didn't see the point in going because the spotting stopped shortly after me calling, so they wouldn't of found anything. Anyway, I had my last ultrasound a week ago and everything was perfect. The next day, I was 7w0d I felt sooo much better than I have been feeling. The nausea went away, my boobs are only sore once in a while, the food aversions have mostly diminished. I'm scared because I'm feeling too good. I really don't feel PG? I can't remember feeling like this with my son? I know with him I was only nauseous for a week also and that was it. But I don't remember feeling normal. Do you think something went wrong in this past week? At my ultrasound my doctor said she believes my PG will be a healthy one. But after symptoms start going away it makes me nervous. I'm actually not stressing about it, but I was just thinking that maybe something went wrong? What do you think? Thanks girls!

Re: Hello again...

I had some spotting after my first exam and they did a pap also at that time. The spotting went about after about a day or so and never came back but every few weeks i would get what felt like period cramps, they were mild but still their and i figured it as my uterus getting bigger. By 10 weeks I didnt feel pregnant except being tired. Your hormones are all out of wack and your body is preparing itself to make a home for your little one. Everything will work out fine.

IMO- if the doctor said everything was ok, maybe you should just try and not over-analyze everything. (please dont flame me here) I know it's easier said then done..... but it sounds like everything is ok. The nurse at my doc office told me she only was sick for 5 days when she was early in the 1st trimester.

Just try and enjoy the fact you aren't sick and everything is ok.

No, nothing went wrong. PG symptoms come and go. I agree with the prior post, don't flame me, but you really should try to stop over thinking everything.

Re: Hello again...

I haven't felt pregnant through most of my pregnancy. I think your concerns are normal, but try not to worry too much.

Re: Hello again...

Try and relax. Remember how much longer you have. Im a little worried taht this is going to take a toll on you because of all the fears you have had already and your so newly PG. Theres a long road ahead and worrying over every little thing is really going to be the worst thing for you, above all the physical things.

Is there anyone professionally you can talk to? Maybe someone who can give you some coping skills or relaxation techniques? I think that would help tremendously ....

Hang in there!!

Be happy for the no symptom days!!

Pregnancy symptoms will come and go throughout the pregnancy. My NP says this is because hormones are causing the symptoms and they fluate. It's perfectly normal to feel great one day, one week, ect and then feel lousy the next.

I have to agree with this! Its so early and you have been very very worried over every symptom or lack therof even when the doctors tell you all is fine...its a long journey ahead and holding in all this extra stress isn't good for you! Definitely try to talk to someone or get out and take some long walks to relieve the stress. Just know that you are doing what you can to ensure a healthy pregnancy and the rest will take care of itself! Good luck, no worries!!

Re: Hello again...

Thanks again girls...

Honestly though, I'm not stressing over this I was just asking!!! Chat Icon I have relaxed a lot these past couple of weeks. It's just that every once in a while I think about it. I'm sure everyone did in the beginning! I promise I'm not stressed like you think I am, I'm really not. I just wonder from time to time. Between working FT, my 2 yr old, 2 dogs and a DH, I'm pretty busy most of the time. It's just in the back of my head. I only ask these things on here because you're all such a great support system so when I have those moments of "what if" I know you'll make me feel better! I'm sorry if I'm sounding like I'm freaking out, but it's really not like that. A little reassurance in between doctors appointments is all I'm looking for. I apologize if it sounds like anything more.
