Hello from snowy Maryland.....(pics of what you guys are in for)
We've got about 15 inches on the ground and they're predicting another foot before it's all done.
They've declared a state of emergency and <gasp!> the malls are CLOSING!
And this is what my stoop looked like 20 minutes after I shoveled......

That looks like my view!
I'm guessing we're up around 14" inches in Fairfax right now. I work a retail job and they called and said that they'd be closing long before my shift at 5. And we're having a huge sale today!

I'm near Annapolis- so about 30 minutes.
I feel bad for people in the city. During the last huge storm (2003) the city was practically shut down for a week because of the crappy plowing.

I'm in College Park. I have no idea what it is like outside. I'm in the lab and we have no windows. It was a rough walk in, and I can't wait to see what it's like when I leave at 4 today!
