Help - finding a place to go
I am intereted in going somewhere for a weekend for my husband's b-day in November.
Looking for something romantic but somewhere we can do things during the day and not too far maybe out east or connecticut. And if they have a spa it would be great
Any ideas are welcomed

Old Saybrook Inn in CT
went there once for their spa it was a relaxing getaway - pretty town
I don't know what you can do during the day b/c we just vegged out - I am sure there is somewhere you can go apple picking or something - I think the casinos aren't too far away either

Re: Help - finding a place to go
The villa at saugerties! Its a B&B aimed at peopel in their 20s and 30s. Its run by 2 artist who used to live in NYC. Its near woodstock. So nice. We went on Thanksgiving weekend a few years ago. We want to go back - it was so romantic. Walking around woodstock was great and we took a mini hike.
