Help - For those that didn't use a bundle me in the infant carrier...
What did you put DC in this cold weather? Going from the car seat into the stroller when outside?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

I use a Carter's snowsuit - hood, footies and mittens all in one. Love it!

Re: Help - For those that didn't use a bundle me in the infant carrier...
I didn't have a bundle me...If we were just going home to car to store, I would put pants and socks, a long sleeve shirt and fleece coat with hat and mittens....then I had a big blanket that someone crocheted for me, and I would tuck that in all around DD....she was ususally sweaty by the time we got where we were going.
if we were going to stay outside, I had a two piece snow suit that I would put over her clothes (it had a hood) with a hat, mittens and the big blanket.

I use this...
Especially for Baby Water Resistant Carrier Cover
Mine is gray
Why I like it:
Its very lightweight It zippers so I can unzip if she’s too warm Waterproof (of course)
So far all we’ve done is put her in her long sleeve stuff and socks. Maybe if we’re lucky a hat or hoodie (but rarely).
Buckle her in
Cover her with a blanket from the chest down (usually a fleece). If its extra cold we may but a receiving blanket first and tuck that under her arms so she has some wiggle space (she HATES being swaddled or confined) then the fleece on top of that)
Zip her up
………… and to be fair………….. Things I don’t like or I worry about: It fits the car seat by using stretchy like a fitted sheet. Its pretty snug but what if she gets big enough to kick it off?
It zippers up and right now she’s so tiny its like she disappears!
When she gets bigger will her legs have room?
There’s two openings on the sides where a draft (or crosswind as I call it) can get in. We stuff this with the excess blankie.
So far tho, we love it and lots of folks comment on it. Ha, we only meant to buy it for the rain!!!!
