HELP - Gift suggestion for my mom - who watches DS
Hello everyone!
Next Tuesday is my mom's birthday and I want to get her something really great.
She quit her job 3 months after DS was born so she could watch him full time when I went back to work.
Any suggestions as to a great gift I could get her???

It depends on what she likes, if she would be into it I would get her a spa day. Depending on your budget maybe a little weekend getaway or something like that. Perhaps a pretty necklace with DS's birthstone. It's so wonderful that she quit her job to watch Lucas -- so sweet!

Maybe one of those photobooks with pictures of her and him and him alone.. you can get them at kodakgllaery, shutterfly, mypublisher.. and then maybe also something for herself.. a massage?
If she watches him full time I'm sure she just adores him and I think those books are a really nice gift.. it shows you took the time to make it and pick out the perfect pictures and everything

i vote for the spa gift too or if she's a jewelry person something blingy or anything you could think of that might make her life easier at home? you are very lucky that your mom was able to do that for you
its hard to say - my mom is odd that way - over the years, we've purchased her spa gifts, jewelry etc., surprise party - i swear the best gift she thinks she's ever gotten was her KitchenAid mixer  she uses it to make her Sunday italian focaccia but she would never "splurge" and buy it herself and she refused to believe it would mix the dough as well - now she LOOOVES it - go figure!
