Help - My dog has fleas
I have absolutely no idea how this happened - my dog doesn't go outside (she's 4 pounds and makes on wee wee pads) and its freezing out.
The groomer gave her a flea bath two weeks ago, when this first started, and I gave her one last weekend plus sprayed some flea stuff that she recommended on my dog and around my house (radiators, etc.)
How do I keep the fleas from coming back? I know they lay eggs.
Should I throw away her doggie bed? Its one piece and cannot be washed. She also sleeps in bed w/me and DH. I changed the sheets and washed everything. I'm so sad...

I would definitely get rid of her bed if you can't wash it.

I would get a new doggie bed, and in addition I would use a steamer to clean your bed and any furniture that the dog might have been on.
I would also have a conversation with the groomer. Maybe that is where the fleas came from.....

Re: Help - My dog has fleas
Even dogs that don't go out should use flea protection if they go to the vet, groomer, etc.
Go to the vet and get Frontline or Revolution and start using it monthly. It will get rid of the fleas and make them unable to have more baby fleas.
These products do work. I know b/c my dog had a fleas or two 3 years in a row and I never got infested. And never saw them again each time and we use these flea products year round.
