Help!! - Where else to shop for a dress?
I can't believe I am asking this! I am usually so good at shopping for dresses, but I have looked EVERYWHERE (I think lol) for a dress for my Goddaughter's wedding in April and cannot find anything I like. It is not a black tie, formal wedding, but a "nice cocktail dress" wedding. I have looked online at Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Modcloth, Venus, Zappos, Dress Barn (and probably a few others I can't remember right now), and can't find anything!
Where else can I look??? I'm getting desperate

I have heard of people having luck with nice dressy dresses on Amazon believe it or not.
Maybe just browse around there...

Express, ASOS, sak off 5th Avenue site, rent the runway can be an option, Dillard’s. Have you tried Nordstrom rack or haute look?
I bought a dress for wedding at Red Dress Boutique last year. I got it on sale for $50 and got so many compliments.
Also found a Monique Lhullier cocktail dress for $14 at Burlington for a wedding I went to in October. Sometimes you can fine a diamond in the rough.

Go to Lord and Taylor in person. They have great dresses and more than what is online (that goes for most department stores)

This. I buy EVERYTHING online but draw the line at a formal dress.

I was going to say the same. Although the last formal dress I got I bought online from white house black market and got lucky that it fit perfectly.

Believe it or not, I got the best cocktail dress at David’s Bridal. I get so many compliments every time I wear it. I went there out of desperation and was pleasantly surprised. Bonus, it was only $150!
