Help, Baby bullet Vs. Food Processor
My baby is going to be 6 mths in a week. And I would like to start blending organic fruits and veggies for him. But I am confused on which product to buy. I've heard about the baby bullet and some people like and some don't. A few people told me the use the regular bullet to blen their baby's food. Should I get the baby bullet, or just the regular bullet, of a food processor or the ninja?? What do you all have or what do you recommend? Thanks!

Re: Help, Baby bullet Vs. Food Processor
I am just starting this process and plan on using the food processor just so I can make large batches of food.
I also have a bullet type product that does work well also, but it cannot hold much. It is good in a pinch though.

Re: Help, Baby bullet Vs. Food Processor
I use my regular cuisinart food processor and blender to make all of dd's baby food. jmo, but if you already own either appliance, do not bother buying something else.

Re: Help, Baby bullet Vs. Food Processor
The baby bullet is definitely BPA free. It's very cute and I'm really happy I got it, but it was definitely a splurge and totally not necessary. It's $60, which is less than the regular magic bullet. I also didn't want to mix using something for DD's food that I use for mine and DH's food so that's another reason I'm glad I got it.
But, I do have a food processor and a mini chopper... and a hand stick blender... yeah I really didn't need the baby bullet.
It also scared the bejesus out of DD the other day when I was using it! Of course, so does the hair dryer. (She's 5 months.)
I like the baby bullet a lot. I've only used it to make a few day's worth of food, not a large batch, so far since we're still in the allergy-testing stage of food prep/eating. It's also very easy to clean which I love since my food processor is quite cumbersome to clean.
I got the baby bullet at bed bath & beyond with a 20% off coupon and a $5 off coupon so it was like $40. Not too bad, but still a little unnecessary.

I make DD's food with my mini cuisinart or my blender. I make large batches and freeze it in small BPA-free tupperware. The baby bullet looks cute though.

I've just been using my food process or my immersion blender (works well for big things like sweet potatoes and butternut squash).

LOVE the Baby bullet. Easy to clean and purees very well. I did have an issue with the blade and they replaced it in a week. I love the little jars that it comes with and the freezing tray. I highly recommend it.

Re: Help, Baby bullet Vs. Food Processor
I ended up purchasing the baby bullet even though I have a blender, food processor, etc.
I did it b/c the baby bullet is BPA free and the other appliances were not. I also did not want to mix my food with hers in case it somehow cross-contaminated. Lastly, the baby bullet is SO cute.
