Help! Baby Hiccups
Ok, lately i think my baby has the hiccups..i'll feel a constant thumping. Almost like feeling a constant heartbeat, its hard to explain. But its not normal baby movement.
Has anyone ever felt this?
It drives me crazy, i don't like the way it feels..it doesn't hurt, but its just uncomfortable.
Should i call my dr. or do you think the baby just has hiccups?

It's perfectly normal. Annoying, but normal. Doesn't hurt them. Nothing to be worried or concerned about. Just an FYI, your baby will most likely have hiccups once he/she is born.

My baby has them almost every day in the last few weeks, perfectly normal! it does feel weird, but it makes me laugh.  I notice that he gets them after I eat, lol!

 used to get them all the time! And yes, they can be a little annoying, but from what I've read it's a good sign because it shows lung development and that baby is learning how to breathe/swallow air.

My baby is getting them all the time now. The first time was about 2 weeks ago and now it seems that he or she gets them all the time. It's a little alarming at first because I thought it was the baby's heart beat because it's this steady thump, thump, thump. But then I remembered people talking about the baby getting hiccups and I was like it must be that. I'm glad to hear someone say it's a good sign.

It is perfectly normal and it will even continue after you deliver for a few weeks. Seeing a baby with hiccups is sooo cute!

My  gets the hiccups everyday! Its pretty cute and makes me laugh.. it feels exactly how you described, im sure you have nothing to worry about!

Its because their lungs and diapragm are developing. My gets them 5-6 times a day at least. She has had them 3x today already!

Totally normal. They get them a lot as infants as well. My daughter had them at least once a day for the first few months.
They say that if the baby hiccups a lot before birth, they'll be a hiccup-er after birth as well.

Yep, that's what it is. My husband thought he was feeling the heartbeat and I told him that it was the baby having hiccups...

Totally normal, my baby gets them allllllll the time--lol I actually did a post about this last week cause the baby was getting the hiccups a lot!
