HELP! Brainstorm - places to store BM while away

Hi ladies:

I am away from my son this week and pumping like crazy. I will be bringing the BM back with me. In hotel putting BM in fridge but gone for a week so really need to freeze it. Hotel will not take it due to policy issues, only co-worker in area is someone I am not comfortable asking. Who else can I reach out to to freeze my milk? I am in Anaheim, CA at a trade show that is 90% men! UGH!!!!!!!! I need some brainstorming. Been so busy haven't had a chance to think!

Since you have access to the web, can you research a local (Anaheim, CA) La Leche League. They would be able to steer you in the right direction.

Can the hotel provide any type of small freezer for your room? If I was really stuck I would probably by a cooler and fill it with ice from the hotel machine twice a day and keep the cooler in the room refigerater. That should kept it frozen.

how about a cooler filled with dry ice?

Thank you ladies! I got the La Leche # this morning and going to call. I looked into the dry ice option before I left and the three places that have it in the area won't deliver it to me at the hotel or convention center.

I am going to see if Target has some fancy cooler..

GOOD NEWS: The TSA let's BFing moms with or without baby to carry as much BM they can - only rule is you have to declare it when you go thru security.
