But it is.

What is your favorite beverage coaster? Trying to buy this as a gift, and the reviews are all so conflicting.

I see many saying "not absorbent" or "Glass clings to it"
I never really thought about it, but I truly never had a problem.

So what's your favorite type of coaster?
Thanks!

I do find that when my glass is wet, it sticks to the coaster and you end up picking up the coaster with the glass- especially if it's a glass coaster or even certain stone.
Cork is probably your best bet...They have wood ones with cork in the center

Thank you. I was thinking cork, but if I find ones with wood it may look a little nicer.

This definitely won't work as a gift, but we've been using the tile samples from Home Depot as coasters! A few years ago, we were re-doing our kitchen and went to so many stores to look for flooring, and we took a bunch of samples. At one point, we realized that they're the perfect size for a coaster, so we started using them! LOL!

I got some from HomeSense, they’re are quartz in hexagon shape. They actually match my kitchen backsplash, totally not on purpose, lol!!!

Thank you. I am considering these. What color did you get? I am looking at grey, but wondering if the black might work because it doesn't look like a true black, but rather a dark grey..

Thank you. I forgot about these home stores. There just seems to be so few places to shop at nowadays
