help! Cruelty free shampoo/conditioner - must be from Target though
So I am in *desperate* need of shampoo and conditioner, as I have absolutely not a drop left. I usually go to Whole Foods, but I don't have time today to run anywhere other than Target. But it NEEDS to be cruelty free, because that's just how I roll.
I prefer companies that don't have a parent company that isn't cruelty free. Doesn't need to be vegan. But I do need to get it at my local target brick-and-mortar store (no time to shop online!)
Any suggestions for good stuff? Or reputable websites that can help me find what I need? I found sites for makeup but not sure on the shampoo/conditioner.
Leaving for a quick target run today after work, so any suggestions would be appreciated!!!! In the meantime, I will continue my quest for finding this information from reputable sources on the internet.

Organix brand or organics I forget how it is spelled. There are tons of different scents and types. My go to is the coconut one or the cocoa one. I am not 100% sure it is cruelty free but I think so...

I found this info..... In addition, rest assured that none of our products, nor their ingredients are tested on animals. We are very proud of that fact and it will not change.
Finally, OGX® bottles are manufactured from materials containing recycled post-consumer resin. We hope this is a brand you can feel good about. Have a great hair day!I found this info on that brand....

It says the only ones that have animal products are the coconut and keratin ones so avoid those The Acai berry avocado one looks good :)

Thanks so much! Going to look up that brand...
I also found that Target sells something called Giovanni's. It earned a leaping bunny seal. Also, Alba brand looks like it may have earned the leaping bunny seal too. So, yay... I have a few of brands to check out when I get there!!!

Giovanni is good! I like 100% pure, natures gate, and trader joes but only the tea tree mint (the blue has chemicals). Organix is horrible with a misleading name as nothing is organic.
Awesome that you look for cruelty free products NOT owned by parent companies too!

I used to use and love organix until I read the ingredients. I was so sad but they're filled with carcinogens which I need to avoid.
