HELP! Desperately trying to find window frame stocking holders like these!!!!
I have no where in my house to put stockings. I have a big bay window and saw this picture in a pottery barn catalogue last year and I've been trying to find hangers like these (this ad was for the couch, not christmas items). Anyone have these or seen them anywhere? I can't fit those big mantle hangers up there and I can get a wreath hanger up there with it's big hook. If they have to be screwed in, that's fine because you won't see the hole when I take them down, but these don't look like they'd need it anyway. TIA! Image Attachment(s):

Re: HELP! Desperately trying to find window frame stocking holders like these!!!!
I was hoping to get a nice metal hook, maybe one with a design on it like the wreath hangers have that might hold a little more weight and not twist, but that's a great suggestion if I never find anything. Thanks.

didn't think about the twisting...that would be annoying.

Another option could be to buy a suction cup hook (the kind that you hang stained glass window ornaments from) - that's what my parents always used to hang stockings in the window.

Those actually look like ribbons to me - not hooks.

Yeah, those are ribbons (I do the same thing with ornaments.)
And keep in mind...those stockings don't have much weight in them. They're just stuffed and have an empty wrapped box stuck in the top!
Hanging stockings in a window looks cute, but it's only purpose is decorative. I wouldn't put anything in them!!

They have inexpensive wreath holders at Michael's.
Maybe try one and put some weight in it to test it out.
BTW: In our old house we didn't have a fireplace or stair railing to hang the stockings. I got sticking holders and hung them from the bookcase shelves. Just another idea.

Re: HELP! Desperately trying to find window frame stocking holders like these!!!!
Thanks for all the suggestions. They might be ribbons, but I though they looked cuved at the top so I was thinking metal at first. I never put anything big in stockings anyway, so the ribbon or maybe even the suction cups would work. Those wreath hangers have those big hooks at the top and wouldn't have anything to really grab onto on the ledge. I literally have nothing in my living room (no bookcases, bannister, china cabinet or shelving) I can hang anything from. All I have is the table the TV is on and the cat and dog would get at everything in there if I just stocking from there.
Thanks again for all the suggestions!
