HELP! Hib vaccine?
Did anyone else's baby vomit after getting the Hib vaccine? Jaidyn spit up a tiny bit, and then while my DH was holding her so I could clean up she projectile vomited all over the floor.
She was a little cranky this afternoon so I gave her some Tylenol, but that was hours ago. Since then she has been in good spirits and is even smiling and happy now.
The paper the ped gave me only says side effects are fever and tenderness at the injection, nothing about vomiting.

Was it right after the vaccine?
Was she upset (ie did someone touch the spot location)?
I wouldn't worry about it too much unless she continues to do it. She could have just overate or was upset from something.
Hope she (and you) are ok!
eta. to answer the question:
No they didn't projective vomit. Maddie did tend to throw up after shots but it was from crying.

She got the shot this morning and vomited about 1/2 hour ago. She wasn't crying at all. She was actually smiling right before.

I would hold tight only because it's not one of the side effects & it was a one time deal.
I know this sucks, sucks, sucks worrying about shot reactions.
