Help! I bought live lobsters and I can't serve them tonight -- can I boil them then freeze them?
I've been sucked into Shop Rite -- they had live lobsters for $3.99/lb so I sprung for two of them. Now it's naptime at home and I want to know what I should do with them -- I can't take them moving around in my fridge for too much longer, but I can't serve them for dinner tonight --
Can I boil them now (15min) and then let them cool and put them in the freezer for a few days until I can serve them/take out the meat?
TIA - I'm clueless.

Poor lobsters. Cook them and put them out of their misery. Cooked lobster can be stored in the fridge for a few days.

I'd say cook them now and then keep them whole in the fridge. No more than a day though. Or keep them alive till ready to cook. they really are best cooked fresh. You don't want the meat to get tough.
And $3.99 is a great price!!!
