Re: help! letting out dog..

can you pick her up and place her outside?

is she crated right now?

i would put the leash around her neck and make her go out.... otherwise theres gonna be an accident to clean up.

I would go back and see if she needs to go in a little bit. Chances are, the dog just probably didn't have to go when you got there.. but will have to go eventually.

I would put a leash on the dog and walk her around the yard for a bit...hopefully that will move things alongChat Icon

Re: help! letting out dog..

My parents dog would do that whenever they were away and I petsat. she was depressed and didn't want to go. She would hold it in sooooo long (sometimes overnight) and never had an accident. I would just keep trying to coax her out and eventually when she was ready, she would go.

Re: help! letting out dog..

I know how you feel, I've been dog sitting all week for my sister and he won't let me walk him and if he does he makes outside just to come in and right in front of me he goes on the floor.
I just keep trying to walk him and I just keep cleaning up Agh
Dogs are smart, he probably is missing his owners.
Try to get him going maybe he will do his business but you should leave paper down just in case.
