Help me choose 1st Bday Party theme!
My DS' 1st birthday is Halloween but we are thinking of having his party the week before. I can't decide if I should do a Halloween theme or Baby Einstein theme.................. he loves Baby Einstein!!
I feel like right now he doesn't even know what Halloween is and he will have a costume party for his birthday when he's older.
Would it be weird to have a Halloween/Baby Einstein party?

Since his birthday is so close to Halloween, you can do that any time. I would do baby Einstein or something else you know he likes.

What about a Fall theme if you didn't want to do costumes. My friend did that.
Colors were orange and black. Lots of pumpkins around to decorate (And you can give out those baby pumpkins with the kids name's on it as a goody bag or get them cute candy bags for Halloween).
She put out haystacks for seating with some extra seats so she didn't spend a fortune renting chairs.
Also you can put out lots of mums, apples, etc to decorate. HAve the older kids bob for apples

I just did a Baby Einstein party and it was so much fun and my DS loved it because he recognized the characters. I just posted lots of pictures, so you can check it out for ideas.
