Re: Help me choose a coffee table?
I'd pick #3 solely for the storage options on it.

Re: Help me choose a coffee table?
I like #1 and #3.
Is #3 from Pottery Barn? I saw something very very similar there some time ago and though it was really great and would make a very nice statment, paired with the right furniture.
And are those real littel compartmens in it, or just for decoration? Because if they are real, I think #3's stakes must go up!

It is from Raymour & Flannigan.
Here is what the site says:
Marrakech has all the characteristics of the popular campaign style, fitted handles and pulls with corner brass protectors. It displays a warm distressed cherry finish. All pieces feature multi-storage apothecary drawers, and the storage cocktail table features a flip-top storage area.

Re: Help me choose a coffee table?
where's it going? Family room? Living room?
The good thing about 1 and 3 is that they can get beat up a little and still look ok. They just have a more casual look about them as opposed to #2 which seems a bit more formal.

Re: Help me choose a coffee table?
definitely #1!
As stupid as it sounds... my sister has a coffee table like #3 and it bothers my husband so much. He feels so blocked in and he doesn't have anywhere to put his feet, which bothers him a lot. With #1 you won't feel so restricted. Just a thought.

Re: Help me choose a coffee table?
I voted for #1 because #2 is too formal for my taste, and I don't like trunk coffee tables- for the same reason- nowhere for my feet, feels claustrophobic.

Re: Help me choose a coffee table?
i love #1 - its that modern shabby chic look
#2 i do not like very much
#3 is a little too old worl for me- i like the apothocary style but i think the gold handles throw me off.

Re: Help me choose a coffee table?
I voted for #2 but ONLY b/c I like that wood grain color.
I have almost the identical coffee table as #3 but it's the color of #2 and without the hinges on top. I LOVE the drawers! so convenient for storing things.
