Help Me Decide - Dining Room (Updated 12/22)
I posted my problems with levitz a while back and I think the set I originally bought was defective. 7 deliveries later I still don't have furniture.
They are allowing me to return it and get another set. My dining room is cranberry and tan.
I narrowed it down to 2.
Marseilles Collection
Rivieria (Fixed_
UPDATE:
I went and last week and ordered the Marseilles set. This was the original set we wanted but when we first bought it was more than $1000 more than the one we went with.
When we ordered it last week, we got the set. A china cabinet, HUGE table (2 leaves) and 6 chairs. We got this more expensive set plus $$$ back!
The set came today and it looks SOOOO Nice.  I have been dusting it and cleaning it up but as soon as its all ready I will post pics!

I don't like the Riveria chairs either. The first set is really nice, though.

thanks for the help! we saw the Merseiles in the clearance center and loved it but it wasnt on sale when we first saw it and we weren't going to buy a clearance piece.

I don't like the Riveria chairs either. The first set is really nice, though.
I think were all in agreement on the chairs...I think they would look dated very easily even if you love them now. The first set is nice.

I like the Riviera set but honestly, after all your problems with them, can't you just ask for your $$ back and buy it somewhere else?

I tried that. They said no and I was just happy being able to get another set. It was actually the original set they had probelms wtih. There were a bunch of people who exchanged the whole set.
The problem is the first set was a laminated wood. The set looked so nice, very modern, however the quality was just horrible. It scratched and dented very easily.
We went Friday to order the Mariselles set. The quality is much better. It is real wood, not laminated wood. We ordered Living room and bedroom furniture from them before the dining room set and had no problems.
