Help me feel better about the drop side recall

So I have drop side crib for DS (we plan on using it for the next one as well.) When I was looking for cribs, I don't remember reading anything about how they can be dangerous. I got one because being slightly shorter than 5 feet tall, I thought it would be the only way to go. Besides the recall, I still wish I would have bought the non drop side because it makes too much noise, but anyway....now I am so worried. I don't have one of the cribs that was recalled, and I have a video monitor on whenever DS is in the crib, so tell me I shouldn't really worry right? I keep seeing those awful pictures of the doll in the crib between the drop side and mattress! ugh! Help!!1

Mine is not part of the recall and I kept mine. We are still using it. DS is 2.5yo.

I would have used it for #2 if we had another child.
