HELP me get back on the right dieting track please....
I not only have fallen off the wagon but I have lost sight of the wagon.
I did so good before the summer. I was down to my goal weight---having lost 30 lbs. Then summer came and I was home with my kids during the day. I ate everything they ate, drank daily and pretty much gained almost 20 lbs back.
Now here we are in November and I just can't find dieting motivation. I work out 5 days a week so I am really fine in that department. I have a partner and she helps to keep me motivated.
How do I find the drive to do it again??!! HELP....

I agree with this. I am in the similar position as well. I was good till summer losing 17lbs and then gained it all back. I am now back on track and down 7lbs. I find that remembering how great I felt before helps. I also go to ww and get a lot of support there.

Thanks ladies! I am thinking of heading to WW. I should stop thinking about it and just go already though---been thinking about it for weeks.

You've got to just make up your mind that NOW is the time. No more excuses, no more putting it off. Do like they do on TV and get rid of whatever's in the cabinets that you know you'll eat since it's there, and muster up all your willpower when it's time to go grocery shopping, make dinner, and do things that involve food. And go sign up for WW if it's been on your mind! We will cheer you on - you can do it!

I thought about it for months before I went back. I even checke dthe meeting schedule at all convenient locations about a dozen times. You have to find something within yourself that will motivate you to return. For me it was a picture of myself. I knew I was overweight, but one day I saw a picture of myself that made me cry. I was at WW the next morning.

Seriously, this is what I have been doing---looking at the schedule and thinking.....
I still haven't joined BUT I prepared food for tomorrow to start off the week on the right foot. I cut up a bunch of veggies & portioned out some hummus, boiled some eggs, made some oatmeal with protein powder, and I have some fresh fruit ready to go. I just have to keep on keeping on.
The real difficulty with joining is that my DH goes to work when I get home and we have 2 kids so I can't go at night. On weekends (and this is the excuse explanation) I don't make time for myself. I food shop, cook meals for the week and I may get out for a run but other than that I am with the family. I also like for my DH to get out and do something for himself since he is with the kids during the day M-F. I guess I am full of "reasons" why I haven't joined---none of them very good.
