HELP me pick color for master bedroom (w/ pics)
We had a Benamin Moore interior decorator come to our house to pick color for the entire house. I love everything, but I'm just not sure about the master bedroom. She initially picked a color that was an exact match to one of the greens in the comforter, but thought it was too "matchy-matchy" and decided against it. She ended up picking a color that is not an exact match to any of the colors but I guess generally goes "overall".
Can anyone recommend a color, green or otherwise, that would go with this comforter set? Rug is beige and furniture is Thomasville Pecan which is kind of similiar to the rust shade in the comforter.
BTW - decorator picked Mistletoe on walls with Aganthus Green on tray celing (angle wall and then celing).
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Image Attachment(s):

i really like that light blue kind of metallic-y color that is evident in the comforter set... i think a light blue shade would look good on the walls!

I am usually a fan of color, but that is a very colorful and detailed comforter set...I'd probably do the light beige color...stick to something traditionally neutral.

I agree, but I also think a very pale blue would look nice (a more silvery blue, not the color of the pillow cases).

sorry that I can't be help with names, but I like the idea of either the blue or the cream.
Also, can you tell me how much it cost to have her come in and do this for you? Thanks!!!

Hi! It cost $150 for her to come to the house with her book of paint samples (larger samples than those you pick up at the store). She spends an hour to an hour and a half, although she acutally spent almost two hours with us.
From the $150, $50 goes to the store, $50 goes to her and you get $50 towards your paint bought at that store, so you are actually paying $100 for the service.
We used Ellen from the Wantagh Benjamin Moore. She was excellent. I absolutely love everthing she picked and love how it all "flows". We have a very open floor plan on the main level and I just didn't trust myself to pick the colors. The only question I had was with the master bedroom. I just I might like a different color green better than the one she picked and I was concerned that it didn't exactly match any of the colors in the comforter, but it may look great on the walls.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: HELP me pick color for master bedroom (w/ pics)
i would suggest a dusty blue color... like a greyish blue that seems to be pretty trendy these days in model homes. HTH :)

That's a light blue-green, right?
We actually bought a quart of Mistletoe, the original color the decorator picked, and we do really like it. We painted portions of 3 of the 4 walls. I'll live with it for a few weeks while we continue to paint downstairs. I would like to try other samples and if anyone has a specific color they think would look good, I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks!!
P.S. We painted the 1/2 bath and the living room over the weekend! Hancock Gray in the bathroom and Algonquin Trail in the living room! They look great! I'll post pics soon!

Re: HELP me pick color for master bedroom (w/ pics)
I would go with a neutral color for the walls since the bedding is so vibrant or even do a neutral color with a accent wall in the color the BM decorator recommended. The only reason I wouldn't want to be too matchy matchy with the bedding is in case you want to change it in a year or even every season.
I think BM Heavy Cream would be a great color. It would pick up on the cream in the bedding but is also neutral enough so you could change the bedding if you wanted to.
