Help me Plan my 5 year Anniversary Trip!
Our anniversay falls in early November and we would like to get away for a week or so. I would prefer some place warm with nice beaches but plenty of other activities (we like a good mix of relaxation and sight-seeing/adventure). We've been to the Bahamas, Aruba and other West Caribbean islands so those are out. DH is not the happiest flyer so super long flights are out (anything over 4-6 hours). We do love cruises so that is an option.
Any recommendations on location, places to stay and definite things to do would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

Bermuda...relatively short flight, pink sandy beaches, and plenty of Sight Seeing...
Saint George is a colonial town, with displays in the town square every day, shopping, museums, etc.
There are also caves to explore, botanical gardens, etc...
I haven't been in years, but my parents go like once a year if they can, so I'm happy to pass on any info!!

Re: Help me Plan my 5 year Anniversary Trip!
We went to St. Lucia last year for our 5 year anniversary and we absolutely loved it. It is more than a 4 hour flight but it's direct on Jet Blue and really stress-free.
We stayed at the Sandals Grande and I highly recommend it.
ETA: We went in October and the weather was gorgeous - high 80s every day.

I found this great weather info for Belize: November
It's tropical so you'll probably have the odd shower. The temps look great though!
Here is info Costa Rica: Costa Rica
I've not been to either that time of year but have been to other places during "shoulder"(right before or after the high season) season and have never had a vacation ruined by rain.

great websites, thanks. the weather doesn't look so bad in november so maybe we will re-consider.

Barbados! My favorite place on earth other than the BVI, which sounds too quiet for what you are looking for!

If you haven't already check out Tripadvisor! The destination experts should be able to give any info/advice you need. Good luck
