Help me please bridal shower games
What games don't bore you to death or do you actually like at a BS? Games that make you actually almost want to be at a shower??

Re: Help me please bridal shower games
I hate bingo!
I played this game once at a baby shower and it was fun. We used the word "baby". At a bridal shower y ou could use "wedding" : The Clothespin Game To begin, choose a "buzz word" such as bride, groom, wedding, etc. When each guests comes into the party, hand them a clothespin. Then, if someone hears another person saying the "buzz word," they get to take that person's clothespin. The person with the most clothespins at the end of the party wins.

Re: Help me please bridal shower games
I am honestly not a big fan of games, but a "game" my family plays at bridal showers is that an egg timer is set for maybe 3-5 minutes, and when it goes off, whose ever gift the bride is opening wins a bottle of wine (or whatever other "prize" you want to give out). Depending on how many people are there, we get a decent amount of white and red wine. We do this until all the bottles of wine are gone!!!

Thanks! I learned about this game from my SIL and it's been a hit at all of our showers. The great thing is that it is still a "game," but it is subtle! And who doesn't love a bottle of wine

Re: Help me please bridal shower games
I'm in Bridal Shower Game Hell lately... I'm making all the games up..
We have the dreaded Bridal Bingo.
A memory game where the bride walks around with a tray consisting of household items. Then she leaves the room and instead of everyone writing down what they saw on the tray, they have to describe what the bride is wearing...the person with the most details is the winner.
We're doing The TP Gown...where we put some women into a group with a "bride" from each table. They have to create a gown and acessories on their bride in a certain amout of time. The REAL bride chooses her favorite.
Questionaire...how well do you know the bride.
Match up your celebrity couples
Match up love quotes
Match up love songs with the band's/singer's name.
You could make a posterboard with photos of the bride at different ages in her life. The person to guess her age in each picture wins a prize.
Did I tell you I'm in bridal shower hell or what?

We have done this also, only with scratch off lotto tickets. Have to say, I'm liking the wine idea too!

Re: Help me please bridal shower games
depending on how many people are going to be at the shower... theres a cute idea my sister dd at mine. she got cute/funny quotes and jokes about love and marriage. she typed each one out on a slip of paper. before i started opening presents, each guest got a slip of paper wth a joke/quote on itr. THEN, before i opened that guests present, they had to read their joke/quote out loud. its hard to explain, but it was GREAT and REALLY kept everybody interested and involved the whole time i was opening presents. they were laughing at the jokes the whole time probably woulnd't work for a larger shower, but i had about 30 people at mine and it was great! they also made a video with my FI ( now DH). they asked him questions about me/our relationship and video taped his answers. it was sooo cute to watch his face and see his expressions while he was trying to remember certain things.... and now i have the video as a keepsake

We did this too, but whenever the egg timer went off, the bride was asked a question... like: "What is the groom's favorite actress?" "Where was your first date?"
Then if bride answers correctly (or not), the person whose gift was being opened won a prize. We went to Victoria Secrets and bought a bunch of lotions / powders / gels / notepads for the prizes.
Good luck!
