Help me raise money to cure cancer!!!

Hello all!
My name is Ashley.

I am posting today to ask for a minute of your time and generosity.

Last month, my mother was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma, an extremely rare cancer of the smooth muscle. In order to cope, I have thrown myself into fundraising and creating awareness about this disease.

As such, I will be hosting a 5K road race in our hometown this spring to continue fundraising efforts and to make the public aware. In order to put this all together, I have started a GoFundMe account, which will serve to put on said road race and continue growing donations for the National Leiomyosarcoma Foundation, whose fundraising committee I am on.

If you could please take the time to donate to our cause and/or share our page, I would so greatly appreciate it. I know we all have our own things going on but if you could take a moment to help out the NLMSF, it would mean the world to me, my mother, and the other 8% of people who are diagnosed with this incurable disease
