Help me with a fashion mindbuster.

Ok-- so when I was Greece a few months ago, I bought TWO of a particular top. They are those cardigan like things-- that are like super long in the front so you can tie them, wrap them around you-- do all sorts of funky stuff.

So, when in the store, the salesperson showed me like at least 10 different ways to wear these things....

Now, that I am home, and wanting to wear (I am wearing one now actually)... I can only figure out ONE way to wear it-- and even that doesn't look as good as the way she did it for me in the store.

When I bought them-- I said, I need an instruction booklet! She is like-- oh, we have one-- but all it was, was a catalogue and it doesn't really help me.

Anyone know what I am talking about-- and can someone PLEASE teach me how to wear these damn things.

Re: Help me with a fashion mindbuster.

I think I know which one you're talking about. I had one and loved it and I ruined it in the wash
(1) Obviously you can wear it with the sides down so from the front it looks like a long sweater.
(2) You can tie it in front.
(3) You can also take the left side and put it over your right shoulder and take the right side and put it over your left shoulder and then tie it in back of your neck
(4) wear it like a scarf with just one side thrown over your shoulder.
(5)Wrap each side accross your body and around your waist to the back and tie it in back.
(6) Same as above but continue and bring each side back around to the front and tie it in front so it wraps around twice.

That's about where my ideas end. I'm not sure I could come up with 10! Chat Icon

Don't you hate that! I have one and the woman in the store showed me like 8 ways to wear it and I only wear it 1 way too. I feel totally retarded b/c I can't figure it out. I saw instructions posted on the internet awhile back...I'll try and find it.

Re: Help me with a fashion mindbuster.

thanks girls... on days I decide to wear it-- I end up being late for work cause I am experimenting like crazy!

That's not the sweater thingy I have... but, it's very similar... the one I have has very long things in front. I have a little cataloge, but I can't find a web site to post a pic and I am WAY too lazy to scan.

I can't even figure out a sarong, so I'm of no help. It sounds really cute though!
